When I set up this website, my aim was (is) to post something once a week or so. However, I have recently started the Penetration Testing With Kali course offered by Offensive Security and it's certainly taking up a lot of my time. There isn't a huge amount I'm allowed to say, but one of the things I have really enjoyed is 'going back to basics'. Writing my own fuzzers and scanners in C and Python has been a real eye opener and has helped me to understand how some of the great tools we take for granted function. Furthermore, I've enjoyed finding interesting ways to move the tooling I need around the network. I've put a few things up on Github, nothing particularly special but it feels good to make a start in contributing. I best get back to the labs, I'm determined to have the OSCP by the end of this year.
